Girly Pirate

This pirate fabric was a little different from what I usually see in the fabric stores. I combined it with some coordinating fabric and made this top.  The font I used for the top is called Nord.  She was very excited about having a headband.

Here's a pic of the back.  I'm going to add loops to keep the belt in place.

Hairbow Storage

The bows in my house have been piling up and I needed a practical storage solution.  I made these boards for my girls.  The bows are visible and can be moved up and down on the ribbon holder to add more bows.

The bows clip on and off easily and you can find what you want without searching through a drawer.

Best of all, the girls love them!

Spring Twitter Dress

I used McCall's Pattern 5838 to make this dress.  I made a few changes.  I put in an invisible zipper and I made a rolled hem on the top and bottom of the center overlay and on the bottom of the dress.  I love the bright colors.

The embroidered design is from the Spring Twitter Dakota Collectible Disk.  It has a lot of fun designs on it.

Soccer Girl

Elise wants to play soccer.  She won't be wearing this when she plays but I knew exactly what I was going to make when I saw this fabric.
The soccer ball came from here.  I used the felt stitchie from this site to make the bow. Since I'm obsessed with making hair bows, I have all of the felt stitchies.  They are so fun to make and my girls love wearing them.
